Training and development
Cornwall Psychology recognises that a diverse approach to delivering training is most effective. We will always tailor the content of training sessions to your specific requirements.
We also recognise that informal opportunities for learning and exchanging ideas are as important as more formal sessions. Regular meetings focused on the needs of discrete groups of staff, such as Special Needs Coordinators (SENCos), can be an effective way of exchanging ideas and good practice.
Professional supervision on a 1:1 basis for staff can also be a great source of support and reduce the sense of role isolation for those who have a very specific brief in their setting (e.g. Learning Support Mentors; Nurture Group leaders).
